Terms & Conditions

2. PAYMENTS: Bank Transfer, PayPal (See Collection) , Cash On Collection , Postal Orders , Personal
Cheques (these will need to be cleared before collection) PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 7

3. DEPOSIT: If an item needs to be held until the balance is paid for we will require a 10% non
refundable deposit, this 10% covers the handling & storage cost and relisting & re-stocking of an item
if the customer has to withdraw their purchase.
4. COLLECTION: Collection is welcome by prior arrangement. For goods paid for by PayPal and
collected by yourselves or your own courier, we will require a tracking number and the item to be
signed for stating it is in its described condition and that all liability for the item will be yours. This is
before any item is released into your possession. If you require any item to be packaged or placed on
a pallet for your own courier to collect, then costs will be charged accordingly.
4. SHIPPING / POSTAGE: We can arrange shipping for any size of item Worldwide. Prices listed for
postage are for the UK Mainland Only. Central Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and
other islands will be extra, please ask. We will usually ship / post items within 2 days of payments
being received or cleared. Delivery of equipment will be made to the ground floor entrance to the
building only. It does not include the negotiation of lifts or stairs. Customers are responsible for
ensuring equipment purchased will fit through doorways and into their premises. We cannot accept
responsibility if it will not fit. Any carriage charges caused by an aborted delivery are the customer’s
responsibility. Delivery does not include unpacking, positioning or assembly of item. Should you wish
to bid on this item and live outside mainland UK or Scotland please enquire with regard to delivery
charge. Please be sure to check goods for any damage before signing for them. We will not accept
transit damaged goods once the delivery note has been signed for. Items are shipped daily. Most UK
orders arrive within 1-7 working days of the order being placed and paid for. We use various courier
companies which are dependent on size and weight of item. Please ensure there is adequate access
for larger items as we cannot be held responsible if items are too large for access. Please note that
our couriers cannot take large or heavy items into your premises, they will take them as close as
possible to your door.
5. PERSONAL DELIVERY: Delivery of extra-large items/orders (too large for pallets) can be arranged
@ £2.20 per mile one way paid in advance (£100 min charge).
6. DAMAGES: Damages must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the item. Failure to report any
damages within this time scale will result in a void claim. This is the time scale each carrier gives us.
Please be sure to check goods for any damage before signing for them. Our insurers will not accept a
claim for damaged goods once the delivery note has been signed for.
Loss or Damage in Transit a) The Company shall not in any event be liable for any loss of or damage
to the goods whilst in transit unless written notice thereof is given to the Company by the Customer
(a) in the case of loss from or damage to goods delivered to the Customer within 1 day of the date of
delivery and in addition the Customer must indicate in writing on the Company’s copy of the delivery
note, the nature of the loss or damage complained of or (b) in writing on the Company’s copy of the
delivery note the nature of the loss or damage complained of or (c) in the case of goods not
delivered within 7 days of the date upon which the Customer is notified that the goods have been co-
signed for delivery. Provided that if the Customer proves (i) that it was not reasonably possible for
him to give such notice to the Company within the appropriate period and (ii) that notice was given
within a reasonable time the Company shall not be entitled to rely on the time limits stipulated by
this Condition. b) The Company shall not in any event be liable for any loss of or damage to the goods
where the goods are transported by an outside freight carrier unless the Customer has complied in
all respects with the freight carrier’s conditions of carriage for notifying claims for loss or damage in
transit. c) Any liability which the Company may incur for loss of or damage to the goods whilst in
transit shall in no case exceed the invoice value of the goods and in no circumstances shall the
Company be liable for any indirect or consequential loss however caused.
7. RETURNS: Items will only be accepted for return / refund if they are deemed to be not as
described in our description. If you wish to return an item because you do not want it or have
ordered by mistake, you must contact us regarding the issue, before sending it back. A handling fee
would be charged. Once we have replied, the item must be returned in the condition it was received
by you. If it returns to us in an un-acceptable condition, we will contact you to discuss the issue.
If an item is being returned due to transit damage, contact us and we will pay the return postage. If
you wish to keep the item we may be able to offer you a partial refund.
8. FEEDBACK: Feedback will be left after positive feedback is received. If you have any problems,
then please contact us first to resolve any issues.
9. SOURCING ITEMS: If you missed out on an item; please contact us and we will endeavour to find
you the equivalent, then list it on EBAY for you to buy. Also if you require an item or items, please
send us your ‘wish list’ and we will try to source them and list them for you to bid on.
10. GUARANTEE / WARRANTY: All items are as described and come with 7 day back to base
warranty. The goods are used and need to be installed by an appropriate, qualified tradesman and
therefore we cannot be held liable or responsible for any subsequent damage or failure after
installation. Please bear in mind our items come direct from use and are sold in used condition and
will need to be cleaned by your selves.
11. LIMITS OF A CONTRACT: No binding contract is created until an order is accepted by the
Company and all prior correspondence or oral communications are to be regarded as superseded
and not forming part of the contract. Prices quoted are subject to revision for errors and omissions at
any time.
12. TITLE: The implied undertakings as to title etc. set out in Section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979
shall be express terms of the contract between the Company and the Customer.
13. VARIATIONS TO SPECIFICATIONS: The Company reserves the right to constantly review its
products and to alter and improve the specifications or dimensions of the components or materials
used and to substitute other components or materials of a similar strength, specification, dimension
or quality, either when the components or materials specified are not readily available or the
